#ForHope – fun walk

AfriForum Sport presents the #ForHope fun walk monthly in 2022 at the Voortrekker Monument.

Participants will have a choice to walk or run the 5 km, 10 km or 15 km route at this event, while cycling enthusiasts are at the same time welcome to take on the social cycling routes throughout the day. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Bemagtig ’n kind, a Helping Hand initiative.

A small contribution can make a huge difference in a child’s life. With the Bemagtig ’n kind project, a joint initiative by Helping Hand and Maroela Media, needy children are assisted in different ways to steer their lives in a new direction.

Children are a vulnerable part of our society –they have no choice in which home or which circumstances they grow up. Sometimes only a small change in such a child’s life is needed for him or her to build a bridge to better circumstances, whether it is hostel fees, transport to and from school, remedial education, therapy or something else that they need. Bemagtig a kind can provide support and assistance with this. Become part of the family and make a difference in a child’s life, create hope!
