Hazeldean Valley Trails is at the threshold of Pretoria East, within driving distance of adjacent suburbs. Cyclists cycle through lovely bushveld farmland among cows and past the trees on the bank of the Pienaars River. Flowing single lanes make this route ideal for novice cyclists and families,
because the contours are mostly level. Don’t be fooled, however: Even professional cyclists can enjoy a good exercise, because pedalling is required! The routes include short technical sections like rocky outcrops to keep professional cyclists happy, while others can take the “Chicken Run” options.

Routes are marked clearly with different colours, from the pink 4,5 km route to the black 50 km route – and everything in between. Cyclists can also spend some time at the Cowhouse over weekends.
